Sometimes, all the tricks I have in my personal mental health management bag don’t work. They just don’t. Meditating, journaling, watching stand up comedy, grounding, reaching out to a friend, listening to my jams, the makeup and play pretties… All the gajillion things I know to do can’t keep me afloat. That’s the nature of mental illness. Sometimes, I can’t pull enough tricks out of a bag until I distract the Crazies and they settle down.
